Nate Bowler was named Chief Executive Officer of Numetric and a member of the Board of Directors in February 2018.
Nate brings to Numetric over 23 years of software and technology leadership experience with a proven track record for using his knowledge of go-to-market strategy and business development to drive results. He takes a holistic approach to leadership which includes: establishing a vision for the organization; making life simpler for team members; reading and interpreting trends in the market;, and executing with energy. He is creative, competitive, and committed to excellence.
Prior to Numetric, Nate served as the executive officer and a co-founder of Workfront, a cloud-based Enterprise Work Management software company. Before founding Workfront, Nate gathered experience from a variety of software companies. His career includes business management positions with iMall, Excite@Home, and Novations Group. In his free time, Nate enjoys golfing, skiing, family time, and getting in a great run.
Nate holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
As Numetric’s chief financial officer (CFO), Karl is responsible for the company’s financial, legal, and general business functions.
Karl brings over 39 years of financial management and leadership experience to Numetric, along with his passion for creating extraordinary value for shareholders and customers. One of Karl’s biggest accomplishments is growing a $500 million company to over $1 billion in 5 years—and he looks forward to driving similar growth at Numetric.
Prior to joining Numetric, Karl held several leadership roles, including CFO, CAO, and VP of Strategy and Innovation with Marriott International and Marriott Vacation Club International. In his free time, Karl enjoys spending time with his family.
Karl holds a B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
As Numetric’s vice president of marketing, Heather is responsible for telling the Numetric story and creating and executing an integrated marketing strategy to generate customer demand.
Heather brings with her over 18 years of marketing leadership experience and a reputation for building best-in-class teams in the technology industry. She has a proven track record for driving measurable growth and has been an integral part of high-growth start-ups, as well as enterprise organizations such as Workday, VMware, Workfront, Henry Schein Practice Solutions, and Novell.
Prior to joining Numetric, Heather led the Sales Development team at Workday, where she and her team contributed to record company growth. Heather is a self-proclaimed ‘demand generation nerd’,who, when not focusing on building pipeline or refining the perfect message, enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses, traveling, or enjoying all the outdoor activities Utah has to offer.
Heather holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Utah Valley University.
As Numetric’s vice president of customer success, Shaun is responsible for creating a loyalty-driving customer experience where customers obtain real, undeniably valuable answers to their most pressing business needs in the Numetric platform from day one.
Prior to joining Numetric in February 2017, Shaun served as Senior Director of Customer Success at Experticity, where he was instrumental in helping the company scale from 20 customers to over 650. During his tenure, Shaun boosted customer retention beyond 90% and consistently grew revenue by 120% annually amongst existing customers.
When he is not turning customers into raving fans he can be found enjoying the outdoors, camping, trail running, mountain biking and taking in a live sporting event.
Shaun holds a MBA from University of Utah and a Bachelors of Science from Brigham Young University.
As Numetric’s vice president of engineering, Dave is responsible for all of Numetric’s core technologies, product development, deployment, and operations.
Dave brings over 13 years of software development and management experience gained through various leadership roles at Rincon Research Corporation and Raytheon Missile Systems. He credits these opportunities with his ability to speak multiple "languages" in the technical arena in order to help bring disparate teams together and make effective use of both hardware and software. One of his most meaningful accomplishments is building an end-to-end data processing platform with near real-time performance with 200+ million records a day for 3+ years with minimal downtime.
Prior to joining Numetric, Dave spent his days as a rocket scientist and participated in the use of the SM-3 missile to deorbit a satellite. In his free time, Dave enjoys spending time with family, playing pickup basketball and helping move the open source effort forward.
Dave holds a M.S in Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University.
